About Me

Hi there, I am a second year Digital Product Design student minoring in Computer Science at the University of Canterbury. I strive to go above and beyond both in my academic work, volunteering or on the job.

A collection of research, interface mapping, and product design projects throughout my studies at UC so far.

PROD151

UX Research Project

In this research report looking at operating system user interface issues, journey mapping, and design recommendations, with a focus on key pain points.

What I have taken away:

This research report taught me to conduct effective user-flow interviews with research subjects, how to understand and map out user flows, and how identify and document pain points in these flows. I also gained practical design experience developing and structuring the findings into an HTML article.

Digital Typeface Foundry Website

A digital typeface project where I mapped out a type foundry website in Figma, exploring structure, navigation, visual tone, and how type can be presented online.

What I have taken away:

This project sharpened my typography and Figma skills. Building type scales, setting hierarchy, and structuring page layouts and navigation.

Interface Design Project

A group project where I and a team of two others researched and designed a mockup interface called PaperPals, a low-pressure networking app directed at helping UC students make social connections without the friction of initiating first conversations. This project involved user research, user interface testing, user flow mapping, and iterative prototyping with a focus on heuristics and usability.

What I have taken away:

This project sharpened my skills in user research, survey analysis, mapping user flows within Figma. Working in a team pushed me to design collaboratively on shared user flows aligning our design philosophy across every screen.
